Before joining UniCap, Mr. Islam served as the CEO of LankaBangla Securities Limited, the largest brokerage firm in Bangladesh. Mr. Islam has more than 20 years of experience in the local capital market. He brings with him profound experience from various other industries. Mr. Islam played an instrumental role in attracting International Investors into Bangladesh Capital market. Mr. Islam attended various local and international trainings and conferences during his career. His experience was further enriched by his professional involvement as Director of various reputed companies.

Pappu Saha joined UniCap Securities Limited on March 01, 2017 as a Senior Manager. Prior to joining UniCap, he served as Manager at the Prime Islami Securities. Mr. Saha started his career with Alliance Securities & Management Limited as an Executive Officer in 2007. He is a senior investment professional with over 10 years of multi- functional experience in several prominent brokerage houses. He obtained his Master’s degree in Management from the Govt. Commerce College Chittagong and MBA in Finance from Premier University Chittagong.

M Shahriar Azad Bhuiyan is a prominent Bangladeshi economist and capital market expert with over 17 years of experience in the financial sector. His expertise spans capital market research, macroeconomic analysis, portfolio strategy, internal control, and risk management. Mr. Bhuiyan holds a bachelor's and master's degree in finance from East West University and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from Jahangirnagar University. He is also certified under the CFA Institute's (USA) Investment Foundations® Program. His research focuses on macroeconomic stability, capital market development, and sustainable finance, with notable publications including Sustainable Economic Growth: A Challenge to Embrace for Bangladesh, Covid-19 and Its Impact on Bangladesh Economy, and Macroeconomic Aggregates and Capital Market Nexus in Bangladesh.

He began his career in 2008 as a Portfolio Manager at Union Capital Limited (now UniCap Securities Limited), where he managed client portfolios through equity valuations and strategic investment guidance. Transitioning to research, he served as Head of Research and Strategic Risk Management (2015-2022), leading equity valuation models (DCF, DDM, FCFF, FCFE), sectoral outlook reports (MNCs, power, cement, consumer goods), and expansion of institutional client coverage. Since January 2023, he has been serving as Senior Research Analyst and Head of Internal Control & Risk Management, overseeing equity valuation, sectoral reports, institutional client engagement, regulatory compliance, risk governance, and internal audit functions. He also holds key roles as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Chief Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (CAMLCO), and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) Reporting Officer.

As a member of the Management Committee (MAN-COM), he plays a pivotal role in driving organizational growth, enhancing governance standards, and promoting operational excellence. Additionally, he contributes as a columnist for The Daily Star, analyzing contemporary macroeconomic issues and capital market trends. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Economic Association (AEA), USA; lifetime membership in the International Society for Development and Sustainability (ISDS), Japan; and serving as peer reviewer for reputed international journals, including Journal of the Knowledge Economy and European Journal of Scientific Research and Reviews (Springer & Wisdom Gale). Md. Saiful Alam is serving UniCap Securities Limited as the Head of ICT from June 2018. Before this role, Saiful was Project Manager of LeadSoft Bangladesh Limited, where he led the activity of Capital Market Back Office software development team. During his 11+ years tenure in the IT industry, Saiful oversaw Software Development & Implementation, Project Management, Requirement Analysis, Data Analysis & Conversion. Saiful Completed his Graduation in CSE from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET). In his professional career, he has achieved ITIL foundation certification in IT service management and participated in many training programs On IT specially on CMMI, Big Data analysis, Database Management etc. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, watching movies.

Salma Rahman has over 10 years’ experience in Bangladesh Capital Market. She started her career as a Trade officer in Capital Market Wing of Dhaka Bank Limited during 2007. Ms. Rahman is currently the Head of Settlement of UniCap Securities Limited. She has vast knowledge on CDBL bylaws, securities laws, and regulatory rules conforming to the capital market and experience in monitoring necessary due diligence activities. She has the ability to cope with the continuous changes in the industry. Ms. Rahman completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics. She actively participates in various conferences and workshops on local capital market.

Md. Zahid Ahmmed Khan, Head of Human Resources and Administration, has been working in UniCap Securities Limited since September 2017. Previously, he worked at HR and Administration Department, in North South University, one of the leading and largest Private Universities in Bangladesh. He started his career as HR and Admin officer at Apsis Resource Ltd. He also has the work experience with USAID Project. Mr. Khan completed his Master’s Degree with major in Human Resource Management from Independent University Bangladesh. He has expertise in recruitment, Employee Relations, grievance management, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development.

Md. Shihab Mahmud has over 10 years of experience in the finance and accounting field which includes 6 years of experience working in Unicap Securities Limited. He has practical experience working in ACNABIN Chartered Accounts as an audit associate. He had completed Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and is now in the final level of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Currently, he is working as a Head of Finance and Accounts Departments of UniCap Securities Limited.
